Double Trouble

Yesterday we went up to the park in our double big, double wide stroller. Ethan likes to splash in the water, although he preferred dipping his toes in the pool this time around. It's a nice walk up to the park, especially when Ethan sits quietly and doesn't want to be carried.
Dylan is sleeping up to 5 hours at night, I wish I could remember when Ethan slept through the night and how long I considered through the night. If there was a chance for baby #3 I would take much better notes this time!

Mind over Egg

I love this picture of Ethan, it's like he is trying to levitate the egg though his mental powers. Or maybe just open it to get to the Car Car Car Vroom. Easter was a lot of fun! Ethan enjoyed his egg hunt. Then there was an "adult" Easter egg hunt which brought back all of the old memories of Lisa kicking my a$$ at finding eggs. Not much has changed, she has some inate skill at finding Easter eggs, I didn't stand a chance. But it was fun. And the ham was yummy.
On the Dylan front, the little guy is eating like a fiend. I think I can actually see him gaining weight before my eyes.
Naveen has a new weight loss scheme, it's Dance Dance Revolution, an XBox game where you dance on a mat to the beat on the screen. It's a lot of fun! It says you burn 6 calories per song so I see some marathon dance sessions in his future if he wants to put a dent in the 6 white chocolate peanut butter eggs he ate today. Video to come (I hope).

Pepere's Little Helper

Ethan always likes to be right in the middle of the action, especially when it comes to Pepere's handy work. When I came out, Ethan was initially playing with a SAW, yes a real saw - that is what happens when men are watching children - "aaw look how cute he is playing with a saw". OK! And yes, Daddy picked this outfit.

Aah the weekend

Weekend...weekday...it's all pretty much the same to me these days. Is that good or bad? I met my first challenge of loading up the car with both boys for a trip up to my folk's house, it wasn't that bad! The key is organization...I had the diaper bag packed the night before and everything ready to go. Then loaded up Dylan in the seat, got Ethan into the car, got Dylan into the car and we were off.
Saturday afternoon I had some friends from work come up which was great. Ethan LOVED playing with David and Brad, every time one of them sat down he went and tugged on their hand to get up and keep playing. It was so nice to see everyone.
Today I actually took a nap and I'm going on a walk with my sister later if the little guy ever wakes up! Naveen took Ethan to the park, two trips to the park in one day - what more can he ask for?
I just figured out the difference between the weekend and weekdays - weekend means laundry!
